Hier also Ciara's ultimate chocolate-cake-recipe:

Ingredients:
275g self raising flour
45 ml cocoa
5 ml bicarbonate of soda
175 g caster sugar
45 ml golden syrup
2 eggs
200 ml sunflower oil
200 ml milk
filling:
175 g white chocolate
150 g double cream,warmed
10 ml coffee dissolved
15 ml water
50 g plain chocolate, chopped
icing:
50 g butter
75 g plain chocolate
175 g icing sugar, sieved
45 ml milk
1. Preheat oven to 160 C. Grease 15 cm square cake tin. Sieve dry ingredients into bowl.

2. Beat in syrup, eggs, oil and milk until well mixed(about 2 minutes) Pour into prepared tin. Cook for 40-50 min.

3. When cool, remove greaseproof paper. with a serrated knife, cut horizontally a 2,5 cm thick layer and reserve.

4. Using a sharp knife, cut out a square 4 cm from edge of cake. Don't cut down right to the base. Spoon out cake crumbs and reserve

5. Melt white chocolate in bowl over pan of hot water. When melted, remove from heat and beat in cream and coffee. Leave to cool for at least 10 min.

6. Beat with a balloon whisk for at least 5 min. It will become thick and pale. Quickly stir in plain chocolate pieces and spoon into prepared cake. Replace top layer. Chill xDxDxD

7. Melt butter and chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water. Remove from heat, stir in icing sugar and milk. Then beat the mixture until smooth and glossy.

8. Spread over top and sides of cake with palette knife. With flat edge of knife, swirl the icing. If it seems too soft to spread, then leave to cool for a few minutes or so.
